Columbus to
Genoa Italy
Ani Palacios
Peruvian-born author Ani Palacios began her career in advertising. When she moved to the United States in the 1980s, Ani leaned into her education in Journalism. As one of the over 50 million Spanish-language speakers in the U.S. herself, Ani considers this her main audience.
She recently traveled to Genoa, Italy with a group of Columbus artists. The experience played a huge role in her latest work, but as she explains, it was a natural fit with her typical writing process.
Antonio Gonzalez-Garcia
The passionate approach to art by a Spaniard with watercolors, Antonio Gonzalez-Garcia. He is a visual artist who was born in Spain, studied in France and now calls Columbus home. His current work is a study in the importance of building communities.
